Sutton Transport Inc. is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to purchase E F Express, a Highland, Illinois-based provider of less-than-truckload (LTL) services. This strategic acquisition is set to close on June 30, 2021.

Sutton Transport has partnered with E F Express for several years to provide services in southern Illinois and the St. Louis metro area. This acquisition is a significant step toward Sutton Transport’s objective of expanding its direct coverage to all major markets throughout the Midwest.

Effective July 1, 2021, E F Express will operate under the Sutton Transport name and authority. The former owner, Brant Frey, will continue to be a valuable part of the team, running operations and contributing to the business's growth.
